A bit about Island Surfboards:       Island Surfboards was born more than 35 years ago on Phillip Island in Victoria, Australia. For two keen surfers, a casual decision (over a couple of beers) to make a few boards for their mates changed their lives. Their dream of a unique lifestyle was realised. To surf uncrowded waves in clean air, while working in an environment which provided great job satisfaction was perfect. Since 1969 Island Surfboards have grown and expanded to become one of the most recognised and leading boardmakers in Australia. They have nurtured past and present surfing champions from State Title Holders like Neil Luke, Amber Goldsbury and Carl Wright to WQS and WCT stars like Simon McShane, and Glyndyn Ringrose. With over 10,000 boards to their credit, Island are still pushing the limits of design and technology to provide their customers with that same unique feeling.
