Otis Eyewear Summer Release

Otis have always been one of our favourites.  Not only are they clean, stylish, cool looking sunglasses, but they have the added bonus of glass lenses to back them up.  This makes them extremely scratch-resistant. This isn’t to say that you can’t scratch them, if you drop them flat onto concrete from a decent height they’re going to smash, but you can get through more than a few months without getting all the annoying little scratches that the regular lenses accumulate.

The colours and fades from Otis have always been top quality.  Yes, they have their ‘loud’ styles, you know, the type that would match well in a rave tent with a pink singlet, but in the main they produce sleek looking sunnies for your average person who likes to look a little fashionable. And their latest range is only better.  Not only have they added a couple of new cool styles, but for their construction and glass lenses, the weight is comparable with any other type you put on your head!  If there was ever a drama with the sunnies, it was that the comfort and fit tended to vary too much across the styles and different head shapes. Well not anymore!  I got the privilege of trying a few of the ‘problem’ styles on the other day, and the designers have gone to great lengths to fix the issues. The result is an even more comfortable, uniform fit across the whole range! Now there’s no reason not to get into a pair!
