Glyndyn is one of Victoria's best surfers of all time, one of the few that have made it onto the WCT. Learning to catch waves standing in a dugout canoe in the Solomon Islands, with brother Tony as a grommet. Glyndyn got his first taste of competitive surfing in the Phillip Island Boardriders and quickly progressed to the ACC, WQS then as a world class surfer on the WCT.

A Smiths Beach local, Carl has been a solid force on the State and National tours since a young age.  His ability in good waves and his variety has carved him a reputation as a big-name head-hunter, and he has the scalps of many of the country’s best to show for it.  With multiple state titles, and a Duke award, Carl’s resume speaks for itself.  Although hampered in recent times by injury, Carl

Always a smiling face, if Sandy isn’t charging big Shippies or nasty Express, he’s in sorting out your new board or pushing kids into waves on Smiths Beach.  The boss’ son, Sandy has grown up at Island, and knows the business, as well as the Phillip Island surfing community in general, inside out.

There are arguably few who have dominated Victorian surfing more than Simon. If there is a competition, Simon has won it, and as in the case of State titles, he’s won it multiple times. Originally from Tasmania, Simon has called the Island home for many years, and knows its waves better than anyone.

Big wave charger Dustin Hollick is one of Island's Tasmanian based riders. He lives on Clifton Beach in South-East Tassie, and uses home as a base to explore the surf rich Apple Isle.  Surfing has taken him through countries across the Americas, Indonesia and across the Australian mainland, yet Tassie is still the place he loves the most.

Another Tassie lad, Richo is cut from the same cloth as Dustin. Completely at home and at ease in the big juice of Shippies. Benny happily strokes into waves that would make a mere mortal wet their pants, or worse. Benny is a prime example of the hidden talent that Tasmania is home to, and as the place opens up more and more, there is no doubt others will follow in his footsteps.

Eli Curry was raised on the Bass Coast learning to surf with his father, a keen surfer and Island surf school coach extraordinaire Simon Chipper.

Jordy is from the small town of Sandy Point, where he grew up surfing from a young age, and has spent his entire life. At thirteen, Jordy began competitive surfing, and has been on the rise ever since.  From local boardrider events and State Junior contests, Jordy has graduated into Open State rounds, and has his sights set on competing in some Pro Junior rounds.

Tom is one of the Island's team youngest members. He was born on Phillip Island, before moving to Torquay to live with his mum and brother, well known West Coast surfer, Josh Rush.  He recently returned to the Island, and has been on Island Surfboard's team since. Tommy grew up surfing the Islands waves, taught by his father and brother Josh.

Another of the junior brigade, Francis has shot through the ranks in recent years, surfing well against older and more experienced surfers than himself. Born on Phillip Island, Francis spends as much time in the water as possible, between school and other sporting commitments. On weekends he is at the beach, or skateboarding, which initially got him into surfing.
