Swell: 3-4ft (1.00-1.30m) Waist to occasional chest height and increasing during the day.

Wind: SW

High Tide: 4:38pm - 1.51m

Low Tide: 10:26am - 0.61m

Water Temp: 15°C

A very cold morning with lots of rain… and a very messy ocean. Not a lot of joy today but still some fun to be had for the keen and optimistic surfers.

Although messy, the broken-up swell is creating lots of peaks here at Smiths with the lefts being the best. Lower level surfers will be able to enjoy the whitewater and reforms on the higher part of the tide.

The Open Beaches will be really messy and the only advantage today would be size.

The Cat Bay area will be the cleanest option but will have limited size.
