SURF REPORT

Tuesday 14/05/24

Surf: 2-3ft ankle to shin height.

Wind: Light SW tending W

High Tide 4:53pm - 1.69m

Low Tide: 9:46am - 0.35m

Water Temp : 16 degrees

An increase in swell and change in wind direction making for some slightly messier conditions, still plenty of options for surf for all levels.

Smiths will be the most protected option on the south side of the island and will have a few messy peaks on offer for intermediate to advanced surfers, plenty of whitewash for beginners to muck around on aswell.

The open beaches will be a good option for advanced surfers as they will have a fair bit more size on offer, although they will be much more wind affected and probably pretty groveley.

The Cat Bay area will be clean again all day and will be a fun option for a surf especially this arvo once the tide comes up a bit.

Have a great day + go get out there :)
