Millowl - Artwork by Steve Parker

Millowl - Artwork by Steve Parker

A$79.99

Over 60,000+ years of local inspiration has gone into this unique deck.

Local artist Steve Parker, a descendant of the Boonwurrung country, created the original artwork by hand! It represents the tidal movements through Murrunbiik (Western Port Bay), with significant sites identified on both the mainland & Phillip Island side of the channel. The red & yellow colour used represents ochre, that is still used in ceremonies to this day. “Millowl” means Phillip Island in the traditional language of the Boonwurrung people.
